Tennessee basketball Coach Wade Houston and son Allan will finally be on the same team.
The National Collegiate Athletic Assn. ruled that Allan Houston can enroll at Tennessee, play as a freshman and have four years of eligibility, despite signing a national letter of intent last fall to play at Louisville, where his father was then an assistant coach.
"I'm excited just to have my family together," Wade Houstonm said. "It means an awful lot to his mother and me that Allan wanted to come home and play for his dad."
"Finally," said Alice Houston, wife and mother, "after years of separation caused by conflicts in basketball schedules, we will be together."
