Qualifying for the United States Golf Assn. Women's Amateur Championships will take place today at Rancho Santa Fe Golf Club at 7:45 a.m.
Twenty-two women with handicaps of five or better will compete for eight places. The national tournament will be in Pinehurst, N.C., beginning July 31.
