Some of the top drivers on the California Racing Assn. circuit will be making their third appearance at the one-fifth mile dirt oval this season.

Heading up the full midget field will be points leader Robby Flock of the City of Industry, who is coming off a main event victory last Sunday at Ascot. Flock also set a new track record in May, turning the one-fifth mile in 13.199 seconds.

In hot pursuit of Flock will be last year's points champion, Sleepy Tripp of Costa Mesa; Tommy Astone of Fresno; P. J. Jones of Rolling Hills, son of Parnelli Jones; Wally Pankratz of Yorba Linda and A. J. Johnson of Paramount, who won the first race of the USAC midget series at Ventura this season.
