You quote a leader of Germany's far right as saying, "I'm convinced 95% of the Germans did not know about (the concentration camps) because the camps were extremely well-guarded." With a wartime population of around 30 million people, this means that 1.5 million Germans were aware of the camps, but were unwilling or unable to stop them.
