WASHINGTON — ICF Inc., an environmental consulting firm, said it has won a three-year, $37-million contract with the Environmental Protection Agency to help the agency study global climate change.
The Fairfax, Va., company said it will assist the EPA in analyzing the impact of global warming and depletion of the Earth's ozone layer on human health and the environment.
ICF also said it would help the agency assess the feasibility of applying new technology to curb climate change; develop computer models to predict future climate change, and formulate international policies to address those problems.
ICF said it previously worked with the agency on the Montreal Protocol, the international agreement to reduce industrial emissions linked with ozone depletion.
