Villa Serena Units

Villa Serena, an apartment community in Rancho Santa Margarita in southeast Orange County, is celebrating its grand opening this weekend.

Units are available in five floor plans ranging in size from 700 to 1,100 square feet. Rents are set at from $625 to $850. The complex is about 50% leased.

The builder is Santa Margarita Co., and the property manager is Western National Property Management. All units are ready for move-in.

Each Villa Serena unit has central air conditioning and heating, a private patio or balcony, washer and dryer hookups for stackable appliances, mirrored wardrobe doors, dishwashers, gas ranges and European-style kitchen cabinets.

The rental office is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 111 Villa Serena in Rancho Santa Margarita, reached from the Alicia Parkway exit of the Santa Ana (5) Freeway.

Laurel Park in Hemet

Laurel Park in Hemet is celebrating its grand opening this weekend with the release of 33 of 129 single-family homes in the master-planned community of Terra Linda.

The homes range in price from $91,950 to $114,950, and in size from 757 square feet to 1,330 square feet. Move-ins are scheduled for February, 1990. The monthly homeowners fee is $62.

All homes have two full baths with stall showers and tubs, refrigerated air conditioning, and fireplaces and some homes have master suits with walk-in closets, dressing areas and sliding glass doors to the rear yard. Lewis Homes is the developer, and Lewis Homes Management Corp. is marketing the property.

The Seven Hills Golf Course is nearby.

To reach the project office at 793 Balsam Way, take Highway 74 to the Sanderson Avenue exit.
