Former President Ronald Reagan is scheduled to speak Tuesday at Loyola Marymount University, where he filmed one of his best-known movies, "Knute Rockne--All-American" nearly 50 years ago.
Reagan has been invited to speak as part of the Associated Students of Loyola Marymount speakers' series, said organization President David Herbst.
"He's a man who has had his pulse on the course of history for the past decade " said Herbst, a junior majoring in political science.
Herbst said Reagan is likely to be popular on a campus whose student body is "fairly conservative." He called the opportunity to engage in a question and answer session with a former President who had shaped their lives, "what education is all about."
