I am writing to express disgust at the absurdity of too many writers/producers depicting a person in the 60s as being ancient and ready for the undertaker. The most recent example of many was a 64-year-old, lovely and multi-talented actress made up to look at least 80 while portraying a woman of 63. I am speaking specifically of Angela Lansbury in "The Shell Seekers." As long as she was playing a lady of her own age, why not allow her to look her age, just as she does so charmingly in "Murder, She Wrote."
