City officials are deciding whether to push ahead with a planned ordinance to ban overnight parking for recreational vehicles, after a state attorney general's opinion last week that said cities have no right to enact such laws.
Prompted by resident complaints about traffic problems and the unsightliness of RVs on city streets, the West Covina City Council is considering an overnight parking ban for oversized vehicles, including RVs. A vote is planned for Monday.
