AF Sergeant Pleads Guilty to Theft, Sale of Equipment

HILL AIR FORCE BASE, Utah — An Air Force maintenance worker pleaded guilty at court-martial Tuesday to stealing pilot helmets, life preservers and other equipment and selling the items to a phony surplus store set up by FBI agents. Staff Sgt. Chris L. London could receive 171 years in military prison, dishonorable discharge and loss of benefits.
