More Lucy: CBS said Monday it has commissioned production of a TV movie about the late Lucille Ball, whose "I Love Lucy" series in the '50s helped boost the network to high ratings. No actress has been chosen to play Ball, a spokesman said. The film, covering the period when Ball was married to bandleader Desi Arnaz, will air during the 1990-91 season. Ball died last April at the age of 77.
