Latino Senator on Stamp

WASHINGTON — The first Latino to serve in the U.S. Senate will be honored on a postage stamp next year, the U.S. Postal Service announced Tuesday. The stamp, in the Great Americans series, will honor Dennis Chavez, who served as a senator from New Mexico from 1935 to 1962.
