The Bush Administration states, "Prime Minister Yitzhak Shamir must share the blame for the massacre of seven Arab workers and the rioting that followed . . ." ("Shamir Rebuked by U.S. Over Deaths of 7 Palestinians," Part A, May 22).
A disturbed individual goes berserk and guns down seven innocent people and somehow Shamir is guilty. Using this logic, it was reported on the same day that 722 homicides have occurred thus far in 1990 in Los Angeles. I want to know when and where President Bush will stand trial for murder? Doesn't he share the blame?
