On behalf of the deaf and hearing-impaired community, we at the Greater Los Angeles Council on Deafness Inc., found the comment by R.E. Neu (Viewers' Views, May 27) regarding "Twin Peaks" and "closed captions for the stupid" to be very offensive to all of us.
