The Tuskegee Airmen Distinguished Achievement Awards dinner is slated for Aug. 11 at the Century Plaza Hotel.

In recognition of his leadership in the field of aviation, Thomas V. Jones, chairman of Northrop Corp., will receive the Distinguished Achievement Award. Bob Hope will receive the Tuskegee Airmen Award of Merit for his participation on behalf of the Tuskegee Airmen Scholarship Fund.
