The last paragraph of your July 29 "Film Appreciation" cover story (which said KCOP takes pride in airing fewer commercials than other stations during its prime-time movies) impelled me--purely in the name of research--to turn on KCOP's 8 o'clock movie the following night. For the record, I tabulated a total of 55 "fewer interruptions" (41 commercials, 12 station promos, two news teasers). Having not watched Channel 13 in years, I wondered if this is typical of the film showings in which "KCOP also takes pride . . . . "
