Morale of Marines in Persian Gulf

October 07, 1990

While "some of our best" young people are in the Arabian desert "defending the cause of high morality on behalf of the entire civilized world," instead of complaints and self-pity, they might consider getting accustomed with good cheer to a truly moral life without alcohol, drugs, adultery and fornication.

They could then return home to America, living more enlightened and constructive lives. They might help better understanding between the United States and the Arab/Muslim world.
