Culver City : Schools Get $2.3 Million

October 11, 1990

Culver City schools have received a check for $2.3 million from the Culver City Redevelopment Agency.

The payment is for remodeling the headquarters of the Culver City Unified School District and for other capital improvements. The money, originally budgeted for the new City Hall construction, became available when the district declined the city's offer to relocate to the new municipal facilities.

Besides renovating its headquarters at 4034 Irving Place, the district wants to fix plumbing, bathrooms and sprinkler systems at the schools.
