James A. Krzeminski has resigned as chief financial officer at Great American Bank, the latest in a string of top-level executives to leave the troubled San Diego-based savings and loan. Krzeminski, who is leaving the S&L to "pursue other business interests" has been replaced by F. Anthony Kurtz, formerly chief financial officer at the Price Co. and before that chief financial officer at H. F. Ahmanson & Co.
Also turning in her resignation recently was Jan Strode, Great American's senior first vice president, director of marketing and corporate communications.
