Guidelines to disperse $190,000 in city money to artists and art groups were approved by City Directors on Tuesday.

Under the guidelines, grants of $45,000, $7,500 and $5,000 will be awarded to nonprofit organizations in Pasadena. The amount of the grant is based on the size of the organization. Nine artistic fellowships of $5,000 each will be awarded to individual Pasadena artists.

Applications will be accepted by the city's Arts Commission in visual arts, film and video, music, theater, dance, literary arts, and multidisciplinary efforts.
