The letter writer is in Joyce Cunningham's fourth-grade class at Cielo Vista Elementary School in Santa Margarita. She and several other students wrote to Calendar about a dispute over a Memphis law setting limits on what youngsters may see at pop concerts (Oct. 7 article by Chuck Philips).
We should have freedom in our country but children under 12 should not go to concerts that are inappropriate, because the concerts are nasty and those who go will grow up to be nasty.
And not only that, the concerts are too loud and if the people who go hurt their ears at a young age, they will grow up to be deaf and nasty.
