None of the letter writers seemed to understand that the intent of an erotic, adult-oriented film is not necessarily pornographic.
One letter goes so far as to complain that the Times' ad for "Henry & June" shows part of a woman's tush. Hell, we see a whole lot more of Heather Locklear's in her fitness club ads!
