Bugs Bunny, Teen TV Actors Named Parade Marshals

HUNTINGTON PARK — Bugs Bunny, celebrating his 50th birthday, has been selected grand marshal of the 41st annual The Fabulous Holiday--Christmas Lane Parade to be presented at 1 p.m. today.

The parade also will feature teen-age marshals Brian Green of "Beverly Hills 90210" and Christie Clark of "Days of Our Lives." Some of the other celebrities are Iron Eyes Cody, Aliztah Wiener of "My Two Dads," Billy Barty, Dr. George Fischbeck of KABC News, Olympic gold medal boxer Paul Gonzales, Josie Davis and Alexander Polinsky of "Charles in Charge," Soleil Moon Frye of "Punky Brewster" and Brandol Call of "Baywatch."

Highlighting the parade will be giant helium-filled balloons. There also will be 15 marching bands and 18 self-propelled floats featuring live poinsettias, the city's flower.

The parade is sponsored by the city and the Huntington Park Chamber of Commerce. The route starts at Pacific Boulevard and Randolph Street, goes south on Pacific, west on Florence Avenue, and ends at Rugby Avenue.
