Rewards Offered in Synagogue Firebombing

The Los Angeles City Council and County Board of Supervisors has voted to offer rewards totaling $35,000 for the arrest of those responsible for the firebombing of a North Hollywood synagogue.

City Councilman Zev Yaroslavsky proposed a $25,000 reward that was approved 12 to 0. The Board of Supervisors unanimously approved a $10,000 reward.

The rewards were offered for information leading to the arrest of whomever threw a firebomb at a synagogue at Yeshiva Aish Hatorah Institute last Thursday.
