R. Bruce Andrews has been elected a director of American Health Services Corp., increasing the board's membership to six. Andrews is president and chief executive of Nationwide Health Properties Inc., a Newport Beach-based real estate investment trust specializing in health-care properties. American Health Services develops and operates diagnostic/treatment centers affiliated with hospitals and other health-care providers.
