Olympic medalist Butch Reynolds, banned for two years because of a positive drug test, has asked a federal appeals court in Cincinnati to allow him to resume his track career. Reynolds, the world record-holder at 400 meters, tested positive for an anabolic steroid after a meet in Monte Carlo last August. The sanction was imposed by The Athletics Congress, U.S. governing body for track and field.
