City Manager Philip Hawkey will evaluate the feasibility of recommendations from the Mayor's Bicycle Task Force to encourage bicycle riding in Pasadena.

Among the suggestions:

* 150 public bicycle parking spaces citywide.

* Bike parking spaces in commercial and residential projects.

* Bicycle parking devices at city-owned or -operated parking lots.

* A city bicycle coordinator and an annual bicycle festival.
