* Glendale residents Margaret Conzett and Mary Reeves were among four honored at the Greater Los Angeles Zoo Assn.'s annual docent appreciation luncheon for 25 years of volunteer service to the Zoo.

* James E. Stratton will become principal of La Canada High School on July 1, replacing James Davis, named assistant superintendent for instruction. Stratton, an Alhambra resident, has been assistant principal at San Marino High School for three years.

* Ralph Dewey was named Senior Citizen of the Year in Glendale. Dewey cooks meals for the homeless in the Glendale Presbyterian Church kitchen.

* Karen Sokol of Pasadena has been appointed director of nursing at Verdugo Hills Hospital. A hospital employee since 1974, Sokol has been charge nurse and clinical director of critical care units.

* Klaus R. Nietzschmann of Glendale has been named a Citizen of the Year by the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms.
