June 27, 1991|ALEENE MacMINN | Arts and entertainment reports from The Times, national and international news services and the nation's press

Break a Foot: Award-winning gospel music star Sandi Patti has a broken foot as a result of a volleyball game at Camp David, a spokesman said Wednesday. Patti broke her right foot Sunday morning while playing with members of President Bush's family and aides. She was at Camp David at Bush's request to sing at worship services. Patti broke her other foot earlier this year when she hit it on a cedar chest. However, she plans to make a scheduled appearance July 4 with the Boston Pops. Patti, 34, of Anderson, Ind., won her fifth Grammy Award this year for her album "Another Time . . . Another Place."
