Rabbinical Council Bans Smoking at Its Meetings

SPRING GLEN, N.Y. — The Rabbinical Council of America, representing Orthodox rabbis, has banned smoking from all its public functions and meetings. The RCA's annual convention urged the rabbis themselves to set an example for synagogue members.
