WORLD PREMIERE: The new play by the author of Broadway hit "M. Butterfly" may have its world premiere at South Coast Repertory in Costa Mesa, theater officials confirmed Monday. . . . SCR has first rights to produce David Henry Hwang's unfinished script, "Face Value," and gave Hwang a commission for the piece, which the playwright told Variety is a "farce about Eurasians versus Caucasians versus Asians versus blacks."
