I felt moved to write and voice my view, but several letters to the editor had already echoed my sentiments. Then I read Tim Rutten's column and concluded that if a professional journalist could so completely lose perspective, something is still to be said on this issue.
If "Stop the Church" had no merit, PBS shouldn't have scheduled it; but to schedule it and then later pull it called their motives into question and left KCET in an awkward position.
