Freshman Jiri Zidek, who complained of heart palpitations during UCLA's 112-50 exhibition victory over Trenchin of Czechoslovakia Tuesday night at Pauley Pavilion, will not play Friday night in the Bruins' regular-season opener against Indiana at Springfield, Mass. Zidek, a 7-foot center from Prague, Czechoslovakia, will be re-examined Saturday.
