In the El Dorado boys' basketball tournament final:
Long Beach Jordan 54, Sunny Hills 40--Long Beach Jordan handed Sunny Hills its first loss of the season at El Dorado High School.
The Panthers (4-3) kept Sunny Hills (6-1) at bay with superior rebounding and a zone press that never allowed the Lancers to get into their offense. Sunny Hills was also hampered when forward Terry Mann, who scored 21 points, picked up three fouls with 5:14 left in the second quarter.
