Barry Siegel's "Empire of the Spin Doctors" (Nov. 24) was a thoughtful and chilling article. It revealed the triumph of form over substance, illusion over reality and cynicism over hope among those who lead us. In the last decade we have seen wealthy and powerful people destroy the livelihoods of many for their own gain. Now they can use our money and hire companies such as the Sawyer Miller Group to make us like it.
