More than $6 million was raised by World Vision's "Day for the Children" telethon, the Monrovia-based international relief organization announced Tuesday.
Viewers of World Vision's seventh annual telethon, broadcast in English and Spanish, pledged $6.2 million to sponsor underprivileged children around the world.
