All-Americans: Stanford's Bev Oden, a former Irvine High standout, was one of five area players named to Volleyball Monthly magazine's All-American teams.
Oden, who led Stanford to the NCAA West regional finals, was a first-team selection, and UCLA's Elaine Youngs, a former El Toro player, was named to the third team.
