Gasoline Price Falls For 10th Straight Week: The price of gasoline at the pump fell for a 10th consecutive week, according to an American Automobile Assn. survey. The nationwide average price for a gallon of self-serve regular unleaded fell 0.3 cent to $1.065 per gallon, the auto club found in its weekly survey. Gasoline has fallen 7.8 cents a gallon over the past 10 weeks, AAA said. Prices rose in the Mid-Atlantic states, the Midwest, the Southeast and the West, but they fell in New England, the Southwest and the Great Lakes region. The price of regular self-serve unleaded is now at its cheapest since July 25, 1990, when the average was $1.05.
