Mike Downey's final column from the Winter Olympics, Feb. 23, was intended to be humorous and perhaps it was to some people. I believe most found it in poor taste.
I wonder what Mike was doing all this time in Albertville that he did not know that the Baltic republics competed under their own flags and were not part of the Unified Team.
