Last summer, four young men were accused of terrorizing the affluent Belmont Heights neighborhood and its surrounding areas in Long Beach, breaking into homes in the wee hours and robbing and raping their victims. Last Friday, they were convicted of up to 31 counts each of robbery, burglary, rape and other crimes.
Freddie L. Neal, Bennie L. Gibbs, Armando Murrieta and Terrence L. Roland were found guilty of committing the various crimes during June and July, 1991.
