A man was presumed drowned Sunday night after lifeguards and Coast Guardsmen staged an unsuccessful search in the waters off Black's Beach, police said.
Witnesses reported seeing an Asian man wearing white boxer shorts head into the water at the foot of Citizens Trail around sunset and not reappear, a spokesman for the San Diego Lifeguard Service said late Sunday.
