MORNING REPORT

Courtly Matters: In Hackensack, N.J., rhythm and blues singer Wilson Pickett, 51, has agreed to pay $6,500 and enter an alcohol rehabilitation program to settle charges he threw a bottle at his former girlfriend and threatened her family. The singer will pay $350 to the battered-women's shelter where former girlfriend Jean Cusseaux stayed. He will also pay her moving expenses to California and her legal fees. . . . The law may say that rock singer David Bowie and model Iman were wed in a City Hall ceremony in Lausanne on April 24, but the couple said this week they won't "officially" be married until they exchange vows this summer in a church.
