A ruptured water main shut down Cal State Los Angeles on Tuesday. The campus reopened Wednesday on a limited basis, but water service was not expected to be restored until today, officials said.
The university held graduation ceremonies Saturday and summer classes do not begin until next week, according to a representative for the Cal State system. But the closure affected about 500 students from the Los Angeles County High School of the Performing Arts, who were sent home Tuesday. The school holds classes on the campus.
