The Police Department has been awarded a $13,000 federal grant to buy and equip a sobriety checkpoint trailer.

The trailer is equipped to test motorists for drunk driving and also contains educational items to remind motorists of the dangers of drinking and driving. The trailer will be parked in front of City Hall, 532 W. Mission Drive, at 7 p.m. Tuesday for public viewing.
