Z-Nix Wages Antitrust Battle With Microsoft: Z-Nix Co., a Pomona-based vendor of personal computer accessories, said it has filed a $35-million antitrust suit against software powerhouse Microsoft Corp. The companies have been engaged in an on-again, off-again legal battle since the fall of 1990 over Z-Nix's rights to sell Microsoft's popular Windows software together with the Z-Nix mouse and other products. Z-Nix alleges a number of illegal acts by Microsoft, including using its position in the Windows software market to control the computer mouse market, interfering with Z-Nix's business relationships and trespassing on Z-Nix property.
