VISTA, Calif. — William Wayne Nix, the owner of a Pomona car dealership, was found guilty Tuesday of first-degree murder and conspiracy in the gangland-style killing of one of his former salesman.

The jury decided that Nix had orchestrated a murder-for-hire conspiracy in 1988 to kill Salvatore T. Ruscitti, who had filed a multimillion-dollar lawsuit against Nix's parents.
