San Dimas : City Manager Search

August 13, 1992

The City Council will form a committee to screen applicants seeking to replace City Manager Bob Poff, who is resigning Sept. 25. Meanwhile, Ken Duran, assistant to the city manager, will serve as the interim city manager. A new city manager will probably be hired by Jan. 1, Mayor Terry L. Dipple said.

On Tuesday, the council offered Poff, who has been city manager for 24 years, a pay raise to get him to stay. But Poff, who makes $102,000 a year including benefits, said he preferred a career change. However, he agreed to continue working on a contract basis for several months to finish negotiating redevelopment projects.
