Longest Season Ends for Dodger Fans

October 10, 1992

A friend and business associate would usually call me first (to share) a pair of Dodger season tickets. I reluctantly said OK (recently) for the company and free beer. Before picking me up, he stopped by the local market and left the pair of tickets in the car. Returning to the car, the passenger-side window was broken. Immediately, he thought, "The tickets, the tickets . . . "

To his boggled mind, there on the front seat--not two tickets, not three, but four.

True story.
