Chaminade 28, Bishop Montgomery 21--Chaminade's Justin Giovannettone ran for 161 yards and two touchdowns in 19 carries, including a 71-yard, fourth-quarter scoring run after host Bishop Montgomery had pulled to within 22-21.
Giovannettone, contained in the first half by a tough Bishop Montgomery defense, ran for 141 yards in 12 second-half carries. Franklin Saunders added 132 yards in 14 carries and had touchdown runs of 21 and 34 yards for Chaminade (5-2, 2-0).
