The body of a woman was found on a rocky Encinitas shore Monday morning, about 30 feet below a cliff near E Street, a Sheriff's Department spokesman said.
The clothed body of the unidentified woman was found at 7:20 a.m. Monday, an investigator for the county medical examiner said, 500 feet south of the D Street stairs. The woman apparently suffered injuries in a fall, Sheriff's Sgt. Steve Wood said.
